At Nursing Training Center, LLC, we are dedicated to providing high-quality learning opportunities for adults seeking to expand their knowledge and skills in the field of nursing
Why continue the current 120-hour program: Nursing Training Center's duty to the public is to graduate caring, competent students who are educated on non-pharmacological interventions first and if needed, to safely administer the appropriate medications while providing education to our residents and families. We feel our mission cannot be accomplished with anything less.
According to SB 144, Certified Medication Aides will be able to administer insulin pens (proposed to start October 24th, 2024). At NTC, we are preparing medication aides to safely monitor for s/s of hypoglycemia, prepare the insulin pens and administer when appropriate.
